Need Art?

Well, first of all, I’m an anime illustrator who’s attempted to dally in the space of creating art for light-novel styled books.

While I may still be in the progress of getting better, if you need someone to help you create a cover art, or better yet, the illustrations in the book, I suppose I’m the guy you can count on.

Unlike many other people who come from well-known countries, I’m a Malaysian. The oddball trying to pursue art and writing.

    Basically, I’ll create an image of your desired character over a white background (or some background).

As for your concerns..

First time commissioning an artist? Or maybe you’ve commissioned other artists before— either way, here’s some information I hope can help you.

  • So.. what’s your budget? That’s the first thing I’ll ask you before proceeding into a negotiation.

    Instead of having a fixed rate as some people would, I think it would be for your convenience if I gave you a range instead.

    The quality of the illustrations and the time I invest in the work will depend on the amount you’re able to commit.

    Range: 250USD-1000USD

  • Deposit is 50% of the full commission price. And before you commit to anything, I’ll create a few sketches for you to confirm before you pay the deposit. Hence if you feel that it isn’t what you’re looking for, you’re free to cancel the commission no probs!

    As for the mode of exchange, it would be through Paypal.

  • Discord or Instagram DMs. Though I prefer discord if possible because then your notifications won’t get washed away by the hundred other distractions.

  • Not knowing what to expect from an artist can be scary ;)

    So for your knowledge of my workflow:

    1. First we’ll discuss about your needs and budget for your project.

    2. Fill in the commission template here to help me get a grasp of what it is that you need.

    3. I’ll create 3 sketches from which you can choose from.

    4. Payment of deposit to begin turning the sketch into a full illustration.

    5. I’ll send you updates on the illustration / character art. Each time, you’re free to tell me what changes I should make. It’s important you talk about big changes early in the process as it would be difficult for me to change in the finalization phases of the art.

    6. Confirmation of the art, payment of the remainder of the commission fee.

    7. I’ll send you the artwork via email.
