94. MENTAL BREAKDOWN

“Sorry teacher Glib.. I’ll notify you once everything is in place.. maybe it will be completed before recess. I’ll inform you then..” I lamented. The update was still going on so I couldn't demonstrate my TALENT to her.

“Just be sure to inform me when the time comes.. I can't make any guesses when it comes to your TALENT,” Teacher Glib placed a finger on the bridge between her glasses.

“Yeah. Sorry, and thanks.”

So this is teacher Glib’s true personality? Which kinda makes me wonder..

“Liliath, what exactly did you mean by teacher Glib testing us? That incident last week,” walking in tandem with Liliath as we made our way out of the teacher’s office, I asked.

“A secret?” Liliath smiled at me. Not really a sadistic one but more-or-less.

“Alright..”

I suppose I should just leave that buried in the dark. Maybe it’s something I shouldn't touch on.. but this is a school right? Not some scary underworld battleground, right?

We continued walking down the passageway when Elyja, who was busy giving out orders to students to fix a bulletin board, noticed us.

“Ah, good morning you two. So? Have you made your decision yet Liliath?” Elyja gave us a warm smile.

“Morning…”

Liliath looked at me before saying, “Good morning. Would it be possible to have tea like last time, per continuation of the answer?”

I held back the urge to slap my forehead. I mean.. she is smart enough to take advantage of the situation to snag some tea but– wouldn’t saying yes or no suffice? She brought along her own tea bag after all..

“Sure,” Elyja’s smile broadened.

Hahaha. I’m so sorry to disappoint you but you’d probably not like the answer to her final verdict. Perhaps I should intervene.

I glanced at Liliath and sorta– or in a way, transmitted my thoughts to her. Isn’t it impolite? You aren’t saying ‘yes’ though?

Liliath who saw through my thoughts pondered a little.

“President, I believe you already know the answer to the invitation, do you?”

“I wouldn’t know unless you say it though?”

“I apologize, and nevermind the tea. To be frank, my answer would be to decline. I appreciate the invitation however, as my current self who lacks the necessary knowledge, I may not fit the role,” Liliath heaved a sigh. More to do with the fact that she would miss out on tea than the fact she shamelessly asked for it.
“Knew it..” Elyja sulked, after a while she straightened her back and with a renewed smile, “You still want tea though right? Nile told me you're fairly tea savvy. ”

Nile… ah. No wonder his name sounds so familiar, it's that guy who betrayed me. Damn.. and here he knows that Liliath likes tea– say what? How?

“If that doesn't trouble you?” Liliath was definitely up for free tea.

Eh? Wait, Liliath knows Nile? Since when?

“It would be good to get to know you better– at least.”

“Um.. what has Nile got to do with this? Is he a stalker or something?”

Elyja looked at me than at Liliath with an odd ‘hey-you-didn’t-tell-him’ kind of expression while Liliath merely smile and said:
“It’s a secret.”

“Right… a stalker it is..”

What the fuck is wrong with this school?

===

Noel had decided that he would opt out of this private time between Elyja and I.I was escorted to the discussion room during the first time we met.

To the corner of the room was a tea pot and tea cups. It seemed to me that having drinks in this discussion room was a custom to the users here.

Elyja had not been as prepared as previously, as such we had to wait as the tea brewed in a pot. It seemed the ‘buckwheat’ tea bag came in a large sachet the size of my palm which she pulled from under a cabinet.

“Can you wait here a bit, i’ll go get some warm water..”

“Could this do?”

Atop my raised finger tip was a ball of water which I had heated to a suitable temperature to make tea. I had repeated this numerous times before to accommodate Wendy and Saria’s share of tea during our gatherings. I would have not thought magic would come to be so convenient. It was a wonder why I had never encountered anyone from my world who tried such a convenient method of preparing their water.

“MAGIC!” Elyja squealed in amazement. “Oh my god, yes! It’s not mana toxic right?”

“It’s fine to use as is. The mana residue can be removed after the process of conversion.”

“Then if you will please,” Elyja, with an expectant gaze placed the teapot on the table.

It seemed Elyja was familiar with the problem brought about by mana generated materials. I filled it with warm water that had been safely treated and following suit, Elyja tossed the sachet into the pot before closing the lid.

“Can you show me some other magic? It’s really the first time I'm seeing something like this. I haven’t had the chance to meet anyone with a water creation TALENT. Then again, it’s not like you depend on your TALENT to do magic..” Elyja spoke in enthusiasm.

The two observers who would usually oversee the situation were also here.

As such, I demonstrated a number of magic spells unrestrained, in a sense, it was a way to ‘scare’ them a little.

It seemed Elyja was fond of spells that demonstrated the change of shapes, namely those to do with swords and shields. I made sure to swing the sword spells in a way that almost grazed the two ‘observer’s’ necks. Also included were questions regarding summoning magic– which I didn't have the aptitude to. It was when she asked me about charm magic that something came to mind.

“Charm magic– it does remind me of something. Could it be that you were involved with the girl named Rishell?” I asked, thinking that something was amiss. If my memories serve correct, it would be that Elyja possessed a TALENT to speak directly into said target’s mind.

Elyja stiffened before lowering her head.

“Yes.. I’m sorry. I had no choice..”

“I suppose so. Though it’s a wonder why she wanted Noel to such a degree..”

“Eh? She wanted Noel?! I thought she only needed him to join the art club?”

“I see no reason to resort to such lengths to persuade him, don’t you agree?” Showing a troubled expression, I said.

It seemed even Elyja who hailed the title of student council President couldn’t go against her demands. Her abilities were troublesome indeed. I have to discuss a countermeasure.

“Right.. What you said does make sense. Oh, so you and Noel are.. a couple?” Elyja stuttered with her words.

“On the outside it may seem so.”

“So it’s not?”

“That however did not mean an invitation to take Noel away from me.”

Elyja gasped. With one hand covering her mouth and the other pointing at me.

“Tsundere!!”

“Suun dere?”

It sounded familiar. I remember seeing it mentioned somewhere in the ‘manga’ I've read in the past.

“Wow, a perfect tsundere. Noel must really be lucky to have someone like you. It’s so fantasy-like,” Elyja wiggled in a motion reminiscent of that of a pudding. I couldn’t quite understand her gesture, though, it did make my cheeks flush. “Ah, the tea is done.”

Pouring the delicious tea into each of our cups, I took a sip.

“Right? Where were we? Yes, I wanted to talk about whether or not you’re joining the student council but you’ve declined. I can understand where you’re getting at but I still think you have immense potential.”

“Thank.. you?” Something didn’t sit right with the way she allowed me off, “Though, if your judgement proves correct, why would you let me go? Out of curiosity it could be said that I have yet to grasp the culture of the people here.”

As from what I know, it was a norm for royalty and nobel’s alike to push forward various rewards or positions to recruit a talented individual capable of bringing benefit to the house. I find the culture of Noel’s world much of a shock.

“It’s one thing to just join but it’s another to willingly join. Everybody has a different goal in mind so it’s not like I can really force you to join. Or could it be because of your values?”

“Values?”

“Values, like perhaps from the world you came from, honor, dignity and achievement are more widespread. Unlike our world, not many people really care about those.”

“Is that so? How peculiar..”

That does explain certain general culture responses I’ve come to witness in public. Then wouldn’t it make controlling a nation difficult? From what I read, unlike the hierarchical ruling system of my world, Noel’s world pertakes in what is known as a ‘democratic’ ruling system.

“So, what are your values? My top three are peace, relationships and organization.”

“I haven't thought of that before..”

Rather, it would be better to simply say I would analyze the general values of the people more than I would my own?

“Hm.. it takes time to really dig into that. Maybe goals? Do you have any goals?”

“Goals..”

Yes. However, it would be best to dodge this question here wouldn’t it?

“How about you, President?”

“Hahaha. Well, let’s see… I guess it would be to maintain safety within the school compound? Who am I kidding, I'm not really sure what goals I have either,” She let out a self-deprecating laugh, “I’m unfortunately not as ambitious as the old student council presidents. I don’t think I'll be hosting large events, or any grandiose treasure hunts this year. The fact that I even landed this role was on a whim, you know? And it’s not like I'm really aiming for something big. But maybe having a goal isn’t all that important. I really just think about following a general principle in life.”

I nodded, taking a sip of the smoky tea before continuing.

“That is– You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours~”

95.

I place the tea cup on the table with a clink. Her quote sounded fairly similar to a motto used by the corrupt governors that I've seen in the past. I felt myself shivering at the odd familiarity.

“Hehehe, don't get me wrong, it sounds like a pretty bad general principle if I dont explain what I mean by that specifically,” Elyja awkwardly scratched her cheeks. “Put it in this way, the world is round, what you give is what you receive. The reason why I’m even taking up this role as Student Council president is so that I can give more, something like providing value to people? Not all people would really benefit from my work though.”

I raised one of my eyebrows in dissatisfaction.

“I don’t quite agree with that statement.”

“Hm?” Elyja, who noticed a change in me tilted her head, “To put it another way– let’s take this here for example,” she tapped the tea pot twice with a clink.

“…”

“Put it bluntly, The company that made this is giving us the benefit of making tea at a moment's notice while it in turn receives money from us as an exchange and the cycle repeats.. No company can really run unless it creates or provides something that benefits others, right? Even if it’s a selfish way to think about it, only by exchanging value would the company be able to survive.” Elyja smiled.

“...”

“Another one is building relationships. Doing a good deed and helping people selfless that you know you know you wouldn't get any return– in fact, doing that deed itself brings happiness in return. Also, sometimes it takes time before what you give comes back to you. One example would be building relationships. It takes time and effort, then again we don't really think too much about it sometimes. When you’re in dire situations, those closest to you will most likely be the ones who…”

“…”

S-she’s right.

I did try to bring value.. I did try to help..

I wanted to protect the kingdom.. I didn't want to be a burden..

I knew there might not be a return. I understood the risk of it all yet..

Could I be a burden?

“Liliath?”

“What if the only good of helping only created more problems.. what if..“

“Then we can only forgive ourselves can’t we.. it’s not like we intended..”

“…”

“Liliath?”

“It’s a lie..”

A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie. A lie.

“Are you alright? Do you need..”

“Should I prove it to you?”

“...”

Seeing her fearful expression, I smiled. Somehow. Unexplainably. I smiled.

I stood up from my seat and slowly stepped towards her. Step by step. A short distance.

Elyja did help otu Rishell didn’t she? She did something to harm Noel didn’t she? I should do something about her.. that’ll be one less burden to Noel.. yes..

“Liliat..”

I held her neck with both my hands.

“How does it feel? What did you say? Give and you shall receive? Should I turn that concept around? It never existed to begin with. A mere delusion in our minds. If it did I wouldn’t be doing this PRESIDENT,”  letting out a loose chuckle and tightening my grip, her face contorted.

But it wasn’t one of pain. Something wasn’t right..

“Liliath!”

I turned around, realizing that I had initiated the wrong target. The two observers standing guard. Elyja with tears in her eyes.

“Y-you.. I..”

My attack failed.

Rather..

W-what have I just done..

Noel told me killing was taboo wasn’t it?

D-did I? Elyja was a threat right? She troubled Noel didn't’ she? I-I just wanted to help?!

Grabbing my hair, I started laughing. I don't know anymore. Was there a point to begin with? I was never right. Everything I did was wrong. I DID help, I tried, but what did I get in return? Torture? Pain? Betrayal?

“Why Liliath? Why..” as soon as she said that, she covered her mouth.

“Call Noel now,” one of the observers said, and I shivered at his words.

Noel.. oh no. He could be in danger now couldn’t he? I-I should do something.

===

Yawn.

Man.. Liliath and her tea. Ridiculous. I wonder if Elyja is a tea connoisseur too. I don't get why she invited Liliath to tea, she’s a student council president, she must have a ton of work to do doesn't she? I even saw her dump all the bulletin decoration work to the next person.

Now that’s what you call delegating folks.

Anyways..

“How’s this?”

“Hm? Do I look like that? Why a girl?” Voux questioned.

“Sorry. I’m pretty bad at drawing males.”

Hah.. I tried drawing Voux in my sketchbook. Who knew he– she’d turn out so beautiful huh? What bullshit, it doesn't even look like Voux. It’s like a girly-fied dumpling or something. I don't even know anymore… ugh..

“How’s everything Noel? You’re not hearing anything weird this time right?” Prune who was joining us in this random drawing session asked. By the way, the small sketch of Prune I drew turned out alright. Looked exactly like her.

“Yeah. I’m totally good. But just in case..”

I had Prune keep a watch on me just in case the serenade from Rishell strikes again.

“Noel, Liliath is.. she is..” Elyja’s voice sounded in my mind.

“Ah.. I hear a voice..” a desperate one at that too.

“Hm? You do?” Voux looked at me in wonder.

“What did it say?” Prune asked.

“Something about Liliath..”

Hm? About Liliath.

“Liliath is h-having a mental breakdown. W-what should we do… she..”

“Mental breakdown?”

What the fuck?

“What happened?”

“I-I don't know..”

I stood up and just as I was about to make a beeline out of class, Prune held me by the arm.

Ah, shit. This is a misunderstanding isn’t it?

“Prune, this is different, I need to go check on Liliath.. Liliath?”

I was about to finish my sentence to convenience Prune to let me go when a bright red light shone before me. Liliath appeared and the first thing she did was hug me, burying her head on my chest–

Horns..

“Hm? Liliath? What happened? Are you alright?”

“I-I did nothing wrong right? Right? I swear I only wanted to h-help..”

“Calm down.. calm down,” I stroked her back, “What happened?”

“I-I wanted to h-help..” Her horns dug into my chest, it started to genuinely hurt.

“NOEL BE CAREFUL OF Liliath,” teacher Glib’s voice sounded in my head. Like what?

“Hm? Be careful?” I wonder if they could hear me if I said things out loud. Could this be Elyja’s TALENT? Why teacher Glib’s voice?

“S-she’s talking to you isn’t she? D-dangerous, I'll protect you Noel..” Liliath spoke, shivering.

“Huh? NO– I mean yeah they talked to me but–”

Liliath looked into my eyes, her beautiful crismon iris glittered, a gentle wave washed over me– I felt a floaty feeling, my vision blurred–

And my consciousness plunged into darkness.

I woke up and what laid before me was a field of red roses, leaves coloured pitch black. Countless small Liliaths with devil-wings on her backs tending to the plants.

Uh.. FUCK? What happened?

“Should I prove it to you?”

To those words, Brusq’s expression contorted, while Nile began to take action. She was falling into an unstable condition, a mixture of hate, regret, anger, remorse. To Brusq, it the reading he got from Liliath were as heavy as lead.

Elyja felt a shudder down her spine. The air suddenly became heavy, her body wasn’t listening to her.

“Liliat..”

Liliath grasped the air in front of Elyja, a creepy smile floated on her face.

“Escape now,” in a low position, Nile tapped Elyja’s shoulder.

Elyja, who had been frozen, regained herself and crawled to the exit despite staggering a few times.

At the exit, Elyja turned around to look at Liliath.

“How does it feel? What did you say? Give and you shall receive? Should I turn that concept around? It never existed to begin with. A mere delusion in our minds. If it did I wouldn't be doing this PRESIDENT,” Liliath let loose a chuckle.

“Liliath!” she shouted. Was it out of anger? Confusion? Panic? Elyja herself didn’t really know.

“Y-you.. I..” Liliath turned around, a sour expression on her face.

“Why Liliath? Why..” as soon as she said that, Elyja covered her mouth. She remembered a crucial piece of information teacher Glib had told her once. Liliath was ‘fragile’, her past was unknown. It wouldn’t be unusual for her to have a mental breakdown at any time.

It would've been wrong to assume Liliath had a sane reason. She had a REASON to do what she was doing, it was one which couldn’t be fathomed by normal minds.

“Call Noel now,” Nile spoke in a deep anxious tone.

Swallowing her saliva, Elyja called upon her TALENT.

‘Noel, Liliath is.. she is..’

“Elyja, you go find teacher Glib or anyone. Brusq and I will hold her down here,” A cold sweat ran down his forehead. Hold down a monster like Liliath? Impossible. But they had to do what they could.

Fortunately, Liliath remained in a dazed state. She was muttering something, but the contents were indecipherable. A laugh would leak out her lips every now and then. Four horn protrusion manifested on her head. A demon.

She was a DEMON.

Elyja ran.

Nile and Brusq stayed back and watched over Liliath’s condition.

Truely. What they were seeing in front of them– insanity in dead silence.

Liliath who kept staring at the ceiling finally turned to them, a chill was sent down their spine. Brusq and Nile took out an extendable baton from their pockets.

“I-I didn’t mean to..”

A red light flashed in the room and– she disappeared.

“Fuck, she disappeared. GO! GO!” Nile shouted.

Brusq had a hard time adjusting to the pressure he felt so he didn’t really speak too much.

“Where’s Liliath?”

The two ‘stalkers’ bumped into Glib, Elyja and a few soldiers.

“She teleported,” Brusq said.

“TELEPORT?!” Glib’s disbelief was transmitted through a yell. “Elyja, hook me onto Noel.”

Elyja nodded, biting her lips.

Glib took the initiative to rush over to Class E, where Noel was.

‘NOEL BE CAREFUL OF Liliath,’ Glib transmitted her voice over.

96.

Prune felt her entire being shudder. Her tail was stiff in the air, her ears twitched to this unsettling scene in front of her.

Liliath appeared in an unusual state, holding Noel in her embrace. It looked like a perfect scene between a couple at first glance but– the aura exuded from Liliath– not to mention the four twisted horns that grew from her head caused the air inside the classroom to fall heavy– would make one think otherwise.

Prune could barely breathe..

Was the reason why Prune felt an uncanny sense of fear the first time she met Liliath? Liliath wasn't human. She was a demon.

As they locked eyes, Noel seemed to grow lax in her embrace, his eyes lost focus. He seemed to lose all consciousness and fell onto Liliath.

“I’ll take care of you Noel..”

Were the last words Liliath said before a red light shone from underneath them. In the next moment, the room regained colour, the air no longer felt stifling and the two disappeared from the place entirely.

Left behind were small specks of red glitter swayed in the air before eroding into nothing.

Prune fell to her knees and so did every other student who couldn’t bear the after effects.

Bloodlust.

It was then that teacher Glib arrived together with Elyja, Nile, Brusq and a few soldiers..

“N-What..” seeing the student fall into disarray, she couldn’t help but voice her shock.

“Teacher, w-what happened?” Voux who first regained himself asked.

“Where’s Noel?”

“Gone. T-they just disappear.”

Glib cursed in her heart.

“Prune, you’re the closest to the two right? Do you have any idea where they could be?”

Prune who couldn’t think straight could only shake her head in denial.

Glib clicked her tongue.

Silence ensued until Wake spok.

“T-teacher! I know where N-Noel is!”

“Wake.. right, your TALENT. Please use your TALENT to cooperate with us,”

“Yes madam!”

Glib furrowed her brows at his words in annoyance. She wondered if she really looked that old, she wasn’t married yet.

“Nile, Brusq, I’ll leave it to you to notify the lieutenant,”

“”Yes Ma’am!””

Wake went toward the window and pointed up at a specific high rise.

“There.”

An apartment.

“Inside the building?” Glib asked.

“T-That’s our apartment..” to which Prune replied.

In a dimly lit room– her room, the morning sun leaking through the gaps of the curtains. The bloody scent of roses that hung in the air.

She straddled on top of Noel who laid on top of her messy bed. His lifeless eye reflected her own, a smile crept onto her face.

She snuggled close, pulling his chest close to her.

“Your mine Noel.. mine.. only mine..”

Running her fingers across his hair, the sides of his face down to his chin– to his neck..

She unbuttoned his uniform one by one, gliding her hands across his chest. There were two dots of blood.

“I’m sorry, I’ll fix this up right away Noel–”

Healing those marks caused by her horns, she then proceeded to lay on top of him, taking in ihsI scent. Her head was right beside his. With her tongue, she kissed his ears, her hot breath caressing his skin.

Perfect.. too perfect.

He was practically made for her.

That was what she thought– his taste was intoxicating. Her mind swirled, her heart started beating faster and her pale skin turned a red heated shade.

“Noel.. You aren’t going to betray me are you?”

Raising her body up, she held his chin with one hand, a worried expression on her face. She brought herself closer to him– biting his lower lips before crawling her tongue inside.

Her saliva intertwined with his as she cuekd on his tongue. Her moans in between each desperate breath.

Pulling back a silver string connected their lips.

A delirious look on her face as she panted. She unbuttoned her shirt due to the heat, her two bountiful breasts exposed for Noel to see.

It was unfortunate he had a great resistance against her charm spell, he remained unconscious.

She would want him to participate in eating each other after all. But till his resistance falls, she would take the initiative.

“Right Noel?”

She kissed him again.

“Fuck!”

With my clothes torn, blood running down my arms and hands as I weaved through the forest of dense rose bushes. The sky was blood red, the horizon painted in an eerie purple. I didn't know where I was nor how I got here–

All I knew was that I needed to run.

Why run?

Because there are a few dozen chibI Liliaths hunting me down right this very second! MinI Liliaths, as in Liliaths that were about ten the size of my clenched fist, I think a cupid could be a good representation of her size– Except the Liliaths had devil wings on their backs, not angel wings!

The moment I appeared in this space, the Liliaths tended to the roses without paying mind. It was when I bumped into one of them accidentally when I tried backing away.

The small Liliath I bumped into fell to the ground holding a black watering can. And the moment she saw me, her eyes turned into literal hearts and she started screaming out my name.

The other Liliaths heard the scream, dropped their work and gunned towards me.

And here I am, running to escape.

IT fucking HURTS!?
WHERE IN THE FUK AM I?

“ANYONE?! HELP!!!”
Hm? Maybe the Liliaths know something? I mean, there’s no one else I could ask right? But hell no.. those girls look so thirsty, I feel like they would eat me up in seconds, which was obvious since the first Liliath I ever bumped into tried to french kiss me!

Wounds continued to accumulate and fatigue started to pile up. I felt a small hand tug on my hair and that sudden act caused me to trip.

I fell onto the rose bushes, I instinctively closed my eyes to protect myself. I would want the thorns

FUCK IT HURTS?!

“””GET HIM!!!””” The Liliaths yelled in a cute voice and held me down on the floor. The rose bushes seemed to distort and disappear. The thorns that were digging into my flesh were no longer there and blood poured out of my wounds. There, I simply laid on the plain flat ground, belly first– except the ground was made of pitch balck soil.

A dozen or so Liliath’s held me down by sitting on me while the other half-dozen forcefully tied my hands to the back.

“””CONGRATULATIONS EVERYBODY!! IT WAS A SUCCESS!!”””

The Liliaths cheered joyously. Ah.. so cute.. fuck.

I couldn’t do anything but resign myself to fate. I was dead tired and my body hurts like hell. So.. what the hell is going to happen from hereon?

“Who’s going to play with him first?” One Liliath asked.

“How do we play?” Another one asked.

“I know! I know! We’ll take turns kissing him one by one!”

“No no no. The rest of us would fall impatient if it takes too long however.”

“How about we ravish him anyway we like?”

“””GREAT IDEA!!!”””

“NO!!! FUCK OFF!!!”

No damn way, I need to run. The hell is up with ravishing me?! What? No.. that’s just wrong. My chastity is at risk here! I’m still underaged!!!

I squirmed, wiggling like a worm despite being tied up.

“Uhuhu, Noel is so cute.”

“Look at him struggle!”

“It’s so wonderful, try, try and try but only despair awaits.”

“You can do it Noel! Keep pushing! Try to escape!”

Listening to their words, I couldn't help but shudder. Where exactly is this? Are these Liliaths actually a part of Liliath? How exactly was this all related?

The last thing I remembered before blacking out was Liliath embracing me. I remember  looking into her eyes…

This is a charm spell?

One of the small Liliath cupped my face with both arms and kissed me. I tried my best to resist by twisting my head and body but every other Liliath had me tied down.

Her tongue entered my mouth.

The other Liliath’s started caressing me in all sorts of ways, some tried to take off my clothing. There are others cheering ecstatically. This is crazy...

HEELLPP?!

My consciousness was fading, heat rushed to my head. My heart beat increased in pace. My sanity was obviously eroding into oblivions. I was sure to have lost myself mid way in the kiss.

‘Ding. System Update Download Complete.’

‘TALENT troubleshooting.’

‘Initializing Emergency Quest.’

‘Loading...’

I opened my eyes, the small cute Liliath still playing around with my mouth. Her alluring scent made me dizzy.

But in front of me was without a doubt the status window I've been hoping for..

Proceed to the story stage?

YES/NO..

===

I couldn’t move my hands to accept it nor could I voice my answer. Whatever this may be.. it’s my only hope. I need to accept it. I have to accept it. I MUST accept it. There’s a lack of automatic response so I have to do it manually.

Damn it…

It’s right in front of me, right in front of me FUCKING DAMMIT!

Someone..

The Liliath’s around me started to lick my body.

STOP! STOP!

Shit. I need to do something about this myself!

I’m sorry Liliath..

I forcefully bit the tongue of the Liliath who was kissing me. She winced and backed off. With the shred of sanity I had left I shouted.

“YES!! ACCEPT IT!”

‘Initializing. Story stage in effect.’

“””OH NO!!””” the Liliaths exclaimed.

And in the next moment, my consciousness faded.
